Pre-Treatment Instructions

Welcome to A-Class Aesthetics! We are committed to providing you with the best results possible in order to help you look and feel your best. To ensure a successful and satisfying experience, please carefully follow these pre-treatment instructions:

• Timing Matters:

• Schedule your Dermal Filler and Botox appointments at least 4 weeks prior to special events like weddings, birthdays, or vacations to allow for complete healing.

• While we take every precaution to minimize bruising, please be aware that the face is highly vascular, and bruising can be expected.

• Results and Recovery:

• Results from Dermal Filler and Botox injections may take 4-14 days to fully appear/settle.

• Bruising and swelling may be apparent during this period.

• Rescheduling Guidelines:

• If you have a rash or cold sore in the treatment area, please reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours in advance.

• Inform your provider of any history of cold sores; they may prescribe antiviral medication as a precaution.

• Medication Management:

• If you are prescribed an antiviral for cold sores, take it as prescribed the morning of lip augmentation.

• Do not discontinue prescribed blood thinner medications for medical reasons; consult your healthcare provider.

• Avoid Blood Thinners:

• Refrain from using blood thinners (Aspirin, Advil/Ibuprofen/Aleeve, Fish Oil, Garlic, Turmeric, or high doses of vitamin E) 48 hours before and after your aesthetic treatment.

• Say No to Alcohol and Caffeine:

• Avoid alcohol and caffeinated beverages at least 24 hours before treatment, as they may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising.

• Skincare Considerations:

• Discontinue Retinoids two days before and two days after treatment.

• Bruising Prevention:

• Consider using Homeopathic Arnica Montana (Ointment or pill form) to minimize bruising post-treatment.

• Bromelain (homeopathic medicine) and a diet rich in fruits like pineapple and papaya can also aid in reducing bruising.

Cancellation Policy:

We ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointments at least 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a $100 cancellation fee for appointments or $50 for Consultations. No call no shows will be subject to a $150 fee for Botox and a fee totaling half of your service charge for fillers.
