The strains of bacteria and methods for extracting toxin and formulating their products are slightly different. Therefore, the active toxin in each varies only slightly in chemical structure:

Dysport: abobotulinumtoxinA.

The effects of Botox and Dysport tend to set in around around 3-4 days and fully set in within two weeks. Jeuveau tends to set in the earliest.
