Because the treatment is flat-rate, the unit count doesn't change your price. It does change your result, which is why we start at the lower end deliberately. Adding a unit or two at your two-week check is quick; waiting out an over-treated lip takes three months.

The shape, width, and warmth of your smile stay the same — only the height of the lip changes. That's the entire goal, and it's why the units stay so low.

Being straight with you: the muscles lifting your lip sit near the ones shaping your smile, so over-treatment here can flatten the smile or make the upper lip feel heavy. That's the failure mode worth avoiding, and it comes down to dose and placement rather than the treatment itself. Starting conservative is how we avoid it.

The area beside the nose is more sensitive than most, so we offer numbing for this treatment — just ask. With it, most patients feel very little.

Without numbing it's a brief pinch at each point, and the injections take about a minute total. Small bumps settle within 20–30 minutes. Minor bruising near the nose is the most common side effect and usually clears within a few days.

3–4 months with Botox or Dysport, or 5–6 months with Daxxify. The lift returns gradually rather than suddenly, so you'll notice it creeping back before it's fully gone.

All three products are the same price here, so the choice is clinical. Worth knowing: only Dysport earns Aspire Rewards points, which is a fair consideration if you plan to treat regularly.

Nothing changes on day one. Onset begins at 2–4 days with Dysport, or 3–5 days with Botox and Daxxify. Most of the effect is visible by day 7, and your full result arrives at day 14.

Slight unevenness around day 5–7 is normal — with doses this small, one side often takes effect before the other, and it usually resolves on its own. Day 14 is the honest measure. Booking around an event? Come in at least 2–3 weeks ahead.

It's our most common pairing, and both before-and-afters on this page show the combination. The gummy smile injections reduce gum exposure; the lip flip rolls more upper lip into view. Together they address height and fullness at once.

That said — some gummy smiles resolve well enough with a flip alone, and plenty of people don't need one at all. Your injector will tell you honestly which applies to you rather than defaulting to both. If you do combine them, the per-unit pricing usually costs less than two separate flat rates.

No — neurotoxin is temporary by nature. The lift gradually returns over 3–4 months and your smile goes back to exactly how it was before.

For a treatment on a feature as visible as your smile, that's genuinely reassuring. If you try it and decide it isn't for you, it's a waiting problem rather than a permanent one — which is a reasonable argument for trying it once before committing to anything surgical.

Come back at two weeks and tell us. If the change is subtler than you hoped, adding a unit or two is fast and simple. If something looks uneven, refinement is exactly the kind of small adjustment this treatment allows for.

If the result is more than you wanted, there's no reversal agent for neurotoxin — it wears off over 3–4 months and you're back to baseline. That asymmetry in what's fixable is precisely why we dose conservatively from the start.

Common and expected: small raised bumps at each injection site that settle within 20–30 minutes, brief redness, and occasional minor bruising near the nose — the most likely of the three in this area.

Uncommon: temporary asymmetry, or a sense that the upper lip feels heavy or less mobile. Both trace back to dose and placement rather than the product, and both are temporary — neurotoxin wears off by nature. Avoid rubbing the area for two weeks and stay upright for four hours after treatment to keep product where it was placed.

The common clinical guide is more than about 3–4 millimetres of gum showing above the upper teeth at a full smile. But that's a rough marker, not a diagnosis.
